(4월호)Spring Fever

Do you often feel tired and  sleepy in the afternoon? Do you have trouble with digesting and get easily annoyed? Then, You have to be dubious about spring fever. 
 Spring fever is a kind of fatigue symptoms that the body’s metabolism which slowed down during winter gets active during the spring. 
 It is caused by physiologic imbalance, change of activity, boost  of nutritional requirement increase and stress.

 First, spring fever can be prevented by regular exercise. It is better to do some relaxing workout and stretch than strenuous exercise. Also, aerobic exercise such as swimming or riding bike can help you prevent spring fever.
 Second, you need to sleep enough. You should have a sleeping hour about 7 to 8 hours a day. If you didn’t get enough sleep last night, it would be helpful to take a nap for 15~30 minutes after lunch. It is even worse if you try to sleep as long as you can during the weekends-it actually makes you feel much more tired.
 Lastly, you should intake good nutrition. It's best to have fresh vegetables and fruits including vitamin B – boost up carbohydrate metabolism and vitamin C – building up immunity system.
It is because having a fast metabolism increases the consumption of vitamin C three to five times more than usual.
Skipping breakfast makes you overeat at lunch time, and cause sleepy after lunch, So try to keep on regular diet.
